Zada Liveaboard Fleet
The four Zada boats: capacity, cabins and what each carries
Updated 28 October 2026
Four phinisi sail as the Zada fleet from Labuan Bajo: Zada Ulla (28 guests, 11 cabins), Zada Nara (14, 7), Zada Zen (12, 6) and Zada Mega (10, 5). Each is chartered whole; PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia books them as booking partner, not as owner.
Four boats, ranked by how many people they carry
The cards below start where every brief starts, with the head count: each shows the boat's cabins, its ceiling, its lowest whole-boat rate and who it suits. One boat is one charter; two or more boats are separate charters booked together, each with its own quote.
Read them against your list, not against the photographs. A department of 13 or 14 lands on Zada Nara, a board of 12 on Zada Zen, a leadership team of ten on Zada Mega, and a whole company on Zada Ulla. Each boat has its own page with cabins, spaces, equipment and rates, and the comparison page puts all four side by side.

Zada Ulla
11 cabins · up to 28 guests · 35.65 m
The group boat: 28 berths, 11 cabins and four rate bands.

Zada Nara

Seven double cabins, a bathtub in the master and both suites, 14 berths.
Who it suits: Departments and client groups of 13 to 14 that want one boat with a master and two suites.
Whole boat, 3D2N, from IDR 105,000,000Open trip from IDR 6,550,000 per person

Zada Zen
6 cabins · up to 12 guests
A boat of its own for up to 12: six cabins, every one with a sea view.
Who it suits: Board retreats and leadership off-sites of 11 to 12 on a boat of their own.
Whole boat, 3D2N, from IDR 85,000,000Open trip from IDR 7,000,000 per person

Zada Mega
5 cabins · up to 10 guests
The smallest boat: 5 cabins, 10 guests.

Whole boat, 3D2N, from IDR 85,000,000Open trip from IDR 6,000,000 per person
Ceilings and open-trip calendars in one table
The table adds what the cards leave out: the open-trip calendar of each boat. Send the date with the head count, because once another group holds a boat for a date, it is gone. Length, beam, fresh water and power are in each boat's specification table.
| Boat | Guests (maximum) | Cabins | Open-trip dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zada Ulla | 28 | 11 | On request |
| Zada Nara | 14 | 7 | 16 dates from Friday, 6 November 2026 |
| Zada Zen | 12 | 6 | 16 dates from Friday, 6 November 2026 |
| Zada Mega | 10 | 5 | 14 dates from Friday, 13 November 2026 |
No price band runs past a boat's capacity, so a 29th guest on Zada Ulla means a second boat. We ask early for the final number and a name against every berth, which lets us build the rooming list once.
What each boat lists on board
Zada Ulla and Zada Nara list a karaoke sound system, Smart TV, local Wi-Fi, a paddle board and a kayak. Zada Mega lists a karaoke area too, and Zada Ulla also has a prayer room. Any item a programme depends on is confirmed for the chosen boat in writing before you pay. Do not plan work around the Wi-Fi: it is local, with no speed or coverage promised, and it will not carry a video call from the middle of a bay.
Life jackets and snorkelling equipment are on every boat, and each boat's page lists its navigation and safety equipment in full. A briefing works at the dining table. A plenary with slides belongs ashore, before or after the trip.
One operator group, one booking partner
PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia (NIB 1805260128363) is the booking partner: it quotes, invoices and arranges the pickup. The boats and their crews belong to and work for the operator group.
In practice you deal with one contact for the quote, the invoice, the rooming list and the pickup, while the captain and crew run the boat on the day.
If the booked boat cannot sail for a reason beyond our control, we arrange a replacement boat for the same dates, or refund you within 14 days, under the booking terms.

FAQ
How many guests can one Zada boat host?
It depends on the boat: Zada Ulla takes up to 28, Zada Nara 14, Zada Zen 12 and Zada Mega 10. Those are ceilings for one boat. A larger group books a second boat as a separate charter.
Which Zada boats have Wi-Fi?
Zada Ulla and Zada Nara list local Wi-Fi, with no speed promised; for Zada Zen and Zada Mega it is confirmed in writing before you pay. Plan on patchy coverage whichever boat you take, because the boats spend most of the day away from the harbour.
Who operates the Zada boats?
The operator group owns the boats and its crews run them. PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia (NIB 1805260128363) is the booking partner: it quotes, invoices and arranges the pickup. Questions about the boat itself go to the operator through us, and we answer in writing.
Are the Zada boats air-conditioned?
Yes, the cabins on all four boats are air-conditioned. Air conditioning in the dining areas and on deck is confirmed in writing before you pay, so tell us if a cooled dining space matters to your event.
