Four planning guides for the producer's file
Updated 28 October 2026
Four guides cover the eight-week planning checklist, seasickness and cabin choice, signal and power on board, and permits, park fees and transfers for a group. They are written for the person organising a group, not for the individual traveller, and each ends with a checklist you can copy into your own plan.
Four reads, sequenced as a planner would need them
The guides follow the order in which questions reach an organiser. First comes the timeline: what to decide eight weeks out, what a written quote contains, when the rooming list and the manifest are due, and what the boarding day looks like. Second, the question that worries the most senior guest: seasickness, and how to choose cabins for the people who worry.
Third is the office. A team away from its desk for three days asks whether it can work, and the answer is short, because local Wi-Fi is listed on Zada Ulla and Zada Nara with no speed promised. Fourth is the paperwork: the name list behind the sailing permit and the park tickets, the fees outside the fare, and the vehicles for a group of 28.
Every guide uses the figures for the four Zada boats, and none gives medical advice.
Planning a Komodo incentive trip: an eight-week producer's checklistIncentive trip planning for Komodo, week by week: head count, quote, rooming list, manifest. Deposit 50 percent; park fees and guide are not in the fare.
Seasickness on a Komodo boat: choosing cabins for a teamSeasickness on a Komodo boat: how to choose cabins for worried guests. Legs are short; 3D2N from IDR 85,000,000 · about USD 5,215 per boat. No medical advice given.
Signal and power on board: what a group can count onSignal and power on a Komodo boat: Zada Ulla and Zada Nara list local Wi-Fi, no speed promised. Charge devices before boat day and bring a power bank.
Permits, park fees and transfers for a group: the three lists behind boarding dayKomodo group permits, park fees and transfers: one name list, IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor a day, a HiAce for 12. Park fees are never in the fare.
Where to start
Start with the timeline if you have a date and a head count. It turns the rest into dated tasks. Start with the seasickness guide if one of your directors is nervous about the sea, because the answer changes the cabin allocation and the cabin allocation changes the boat. Start with signal and power if the trip is a working offsite, and with permits and transfers once the head count is fixed.
Each guide closes with a producer's checklist. Copy the checklist into your own tracker, and send us the answers in the first message or with the rooming list. When a question is not covered, ask. We would rather correct a guide than leave a gap in your plan.
FAQ
Where do I start planning a company trip to Komodo?
Start with the head count and two or three possible dates, then read the eight-week checklist. Send both to us in one message and the producer on your file replies with a written quote and the open points.
Do you have a template for the plan?
The first guide is the template: eight weeks of dated steps with who sends what. Copy its checklist into your own tracker. We add the cut-off dates in the written quote, because they depend on your sailing date.
