Zada Mega: ten guests, five cabins, a small boat for a leadership team

Zada Mega, also written Mega by Zada, has 5 cabins and 5 private bathrooms, and it takes up to 10 guests. Ten is the ceiling, so a head count of eleven is a different boat.

A small boat has one virtue for a producer: nothing to organise. Five double cabins, one dining table, one crew. A leadership team of 8 to 10 can plan a three-day trip in a single message. At 10 guests the 3D2N share is IDR 8,500,000 · about USD 521 per person; a party smaller than ten still pays for the whole boat, so the share rises as the party shrinks.

One Master, three Suites and one Deluxe make five. The cabin list prints a double bed in all five.

• Master. Double bed, a private balcony with a bathtub and a private bathroom.
• Suites (three). Double bed and a private bathroom; a water heater is available.
• Deluxe (one). Double bed and a private bathroom with a water heater.

The Master is the only cabin with a balcony and a bathtub. A full boat of 10 sleeps like this: the chair in the Master, three pairs in the three Suites and the last pair in the Deluxe. The bed set-up for each pair is confirmed with the rooming list, in writing, before you pay.

The indoor dining saloon has a teak table with six bar stools, a blue banquette and panoramic windows. The open foredeck is teak with a cream built-in sofa, white bean bags, green turf patches and two cushioned sun beds under the rigging. The bow sun area has two white bean bags under white shade sails.

Zada Mega has no separate lounge, so the dining saloon serves for the briefing, the meal and the karaoke evening. For a seated dinner for 10, we confirm the table plan in writing before you pay.

Zada Mega lists a karaoke area with its sound system, snorkelling equipment for every guest and life jackets; the table below sets them out.

Smart TV and Wi-Fi on Zada Mega are confirmed in writing before you pay, so a programme that depends on a screen or a call should say so in the first message. A trip built on snorkelling, walks and a shared dinner for ten or fewer needs nothing beyond the list.

Two extras are priced for Zada Mega: photo and video documentation at IDR 2,000,000 · about USD 123 per day and a local guide at IDR 750,000 · about USD 46 per day. On a private charter the guide and photo and video documentation are not included; they are arranged on request and quoted separately. Park tickets and ranger fees are never in the fare.

Paired with Zada Ulla, Mega covers 29 to 38 guests. That means two private charters on the same dates, each quoted on its own and both subject to being free; sailing together, a shared anchorage and a joint programme are arranged on request, and the captains set the order and the anchorages.
