Event briefs: planning notes for Komodo groups

Event briefs are short planning notes from the production desk at PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia: weekday or weekend, a run-of-show for three days, a rooming list for twenty-eight, a budget per head, and two boats for forty, booked for the same dates. Each ends with a checklist you can copy into your own plan.
The five briefs
Five notes, each one a planning question we hear from group organisers. Weekday or weekend: what changes in the rate and the park ticket. A three-day run-of-show for a company group of twenty on one boat, with an owner beside each line. A rooming list for twenty-eight staff on eleven cabins: seniors, pairs and a plus-one. A budget per head, with the lines a boat fare leaves out added one by one. And two boats for forty guests, booked for the same dates on request.
Park fees are always extra, and anything not yet confirmed is confirmed in writing before you pay.

How the briefs are written
Boat numbers come through the same figures as the rate pages, so a note and a rate page never disagree about a price. Where a rule or fee comes from a public source, the note names it and its date.
