WhatsApp and email, by purpose
Two WhatsApp lines, one desk: use whichever opens on your phone. WhatsApp suits dates, head counts and quick questions. Email suits documents: a long guest list, a purchase order, a manifest and passport details once the quote is accepted.

Four lines that get a quote fastest
A short message gets a faster quote than a long one. Four lines are enough.
- Head count. A number or a range, such as 20, or 20 to 25.
- Dates. A date, a month, or two sets of dates if the calendar is flexible.
- Length. One day, 2D1N, 3D2N, 4D3N or 5D4N.
- Boat. A boat's name, or the words "help us choose".
An example of a complete first message: "Twenty people, mid-March, 3D2N, help us choose a boat; most of us land in Labuan Bajo the day before." It has all four lines, and it needs no attachment.
The producer replies with the boat or combination that fits, the whole-boat rate for your head count, and the open points: the guide and documentation on a private charter, park fees, the return time. Nothing is binding until it is in the written quote.
